Sultan

We've seen many underdog films from Rocky to Chak De India. Sultan also falls into the similar category. But What makes Sultan special despite of the simple story is the way it has been handled by the director Ali Abbas Zafar. Full points to him for handling this subject expertly. Talking about the performances Salman Khan is in top form in this flick, he has put in a lot of efforts to get this character absolutely right, to me this is one of his finest performances ever if not his best. The movie banks on his strong shoulders. Having said that Anushka Sharma is not so far behind, she stands tall throughout the film, she delivers a superb performance. Randip Hooda is very good in his brief role enacting Sultan's coach, so is Amit Sadh playing a Businessman. All others actors are also very good playing their respective roles specially the guy playing Sultan's best friend in the movie. Music is also nice by Vishal-Shekhar which goes well with flow of the movie. The fight sequences are also pretty nice and fun to watch. All in all a very good and entertaining movie..!!!
